Bookmaker scores
Every bookmaker receives a score out of 5 built from three parts, using the same weights for every bookmaker.

Features we could not confirm from a reliable source do not count towards the score. Scores are rounded to one decimal place.

Racing selections
For each race, every runner with a fixed price is rated on:
- Market price, converted to an implied chance of winning
- Wins and placings from its last five starts
- Market movement from its opening price
- Barrier draw in races of 1400 metres or less
- Expected position in running from the speed map
- The jockey's win strike rate over their last 50 rides
Greyhound selections use the same method with box draw in place of barrier and no rider measure. Harness selections use barrier draw and the driver's recent strike rate.
The highest rated runner is the top pick and the next is the next best. The value pick is the highest rated remaining runner at $6 or longer. The best bet of each meeting is the race where the top pick rates furthest clear of the next best.
Footy tips
Our tip is the team with the shorter median head to head price across the listed bookmakers. The line is the median handicap offered on that team.
